Artist - St Ives, Cornwall
Caroline settled in the World-renowned artistic community of St Ives in the mid 1980's having previously travelled the world in pursuit of artistic inspiration.
Its peninsula-like location is bathed in direct, bright light which is reflected off the aqua seas and is warmed by the tropical Gulf Stream.
This has attracted artists for generations including such famous names as Barbara Hepworth and Bernard Leach who were inspired by the stunning surroundings.
Caroline paints evocative heart warming scenes of St Ives and the surrounding area and some of the locations may be familiar.
Having lived in St Ives bay for 10 years I have fond memories of hot sunny days down by the sea and hope you too will share my feeling of tranquillity when viewing these paintings.
Caroline's paintings are in collections worldwide and we are pleased to represent her as the only gallery in the Midlands showing her work.
